The kind of chill music that you'd listen to while depressurizing after a tough day at work—lying next to a pool, drink in hand, as warm breezes sway the leaves. One of my favorite stations used to call it, "soft and warm, the quiet storm."

In 1989, the Beastie Boys released their second album, "Paul's Boutique", a sonic collage of a whopping 105 song samples put together by the Boys and their producers, the Dust Brothers. It eventually became what many consider to be one of the greatest albums ever released.

Sadly, the world lost Beastie Boy Adam "MCA" Yauch on May 4, 2012. As a tribute, let's revisit the epic "Paul's Boutique" and mix up a healthy selection of some of the original songs later sampled on this masterpiece.
