Inside a blue light gently sweeps across its listeners as ghosts of bygone performers stand up to play. Trapped inside a moment, the songs the ghosts play reflect the midnight darkness: slow and carrying a sorrowful, blue-tinted somberness.

A jazz study mix

The best jazz I know. Inspiring and chilled jazz, with the occasional standard thrown in for good measure.

a dark and intimate bar on some out of the way street in whatever big city you love. cigarette smoke fills the air. you share a stiff brandy with a close confidant, saying nothing, as the trio on stage play soulful brooding jazz. it's the 1920s, the 1950s or present day. it's simply a feeling.
