A mix to celebrate a musical legend on the 31st anniversary of his death (May 11, 1981). This mix includes music by Mr. Marley himself, his sons Damian, Stephen, and Ziggy, fellow bandmate Peter Tosh, and various other greats both old (Toots & The Maytals) and new (Matisyahu).
My hope is that he would enjoy this mix and that you will, too, even if you're not the biggest fan of reggae. ONE LOVE.

12 tracks from the Marley clan, from Bob Marley on down to Ky-Mani Marley and Julian Marley. This is the family that; for right or wrong, has been placed on a pedestal in the annals of reggae history, and Jamaican culture. There's a strong musical streak that runs in the family, and it's obvious when you listen. This may be the first in a series to come. We will see.

I can't be thankful enough to Bob Marley. As if his talent, wisdom, and example was not enough to make him the most influencing artist of the 20th century, he also left us a legacy I am not sure he purposely envisioned.
Can't argue against genetics. In a way, Marley is still alive and continues to spread his talent and extend his influence beyond his own work, as his children carry on with his legacy; each with his/her own style and perspectives but always with that unmistakable Marley touch.
