petitstaureaux

i pulled myself out of a shallow grave, milky eyed and foggy brained.
before i knew it, i was somebody new; born again and baptized in the dirt.
each step took me further than before because each step was new and each step was my own.

Loud, Heavy, Energetic, Shrill, Spiteful, and sometimes a bit obnoxious, this is a collection of songs I've played over the years, blaring with the windows down, going 90 down the freeway, to get myself hyped up for where ever I'm about to go.

My favorite 18 tracks from The Weeknd's 3 albums. Lay low tonight, relax and overdose to The Weeknd.

*discretion* meant for The Weeknd fans, so no one should skip any songs. If you're up for it, give him a chance. He might end up seducing you too.

Texas, The Birthplace of Psychedelic Rock

Harvestblastsound

Icon.plays.1305464659 97

It may seem strange to think that Acid Rock originated someplace outside of San-Fran, but it's true. Texas during the 60s produced some of the fiercest garage bands & eventually, even one of the decades biggest icons. Of course the most popular group from this period is Roky's gang, but there's so many other groups that deserve recognition such as Lost and Found & Endle St. Cloud. Also featured to represent the birth of Texas' blues-rock towards the end of the 60s are the likes of Janis Joplin.
