It was the kind of sunny day that wasn’t too hot or humid. I wore a vintage floral Ralph Lauren tank top and cotton shorts. We took a long walk, celebrating the sun and the end of the school year.

I did cartwheels on the warm soft grass. We danced around each other, feeling our fingertips touch as we twirled.
