Some (mostly) West African music that focuses more on the melodic side of things. Stings, voices, horns, idiophones, and the like (a few horns thrown in too). Tradional and folk mixed with blues, classic high life, and stuff like that. Chill, yet invigorating. Hope you enjoy!
Total run time: 1.2 hours
Artists are from Mali, Senegal, and Nigeria.
Ayub Ogada is from Kenya--one exception to my West Africa theme, but a beautiful song... Ry Cooder being the other.

This is a compilation of my pet monkey's favorite songs. He tends to favor music he can seriously swing his tail to - or else tracks with explicit animal-related titles and/or more tacit feral musical influences. // Expect to listen to everything from Orchestra Baobab to Anathallo. // Enjoy!
