aaaah I wish you'd included the credit to the quote so people know it's from Phantom! I recognized it immediately (from the Apollo's Lyre chapter. Followed by the quote "Let's sing 'opera music', Christine Daae!" which is one of my fave Erik sarcastic moments in the novel)
