You don’t know how to explain: there are monsters inside you. They have always been there.
You imagine them looking out from behind your eyes, crawling up your spine with serrated claws. These nightmares hide a greater truth, one that dances on the edge of your subconscious but never quite comes to light (too ugly to understand).
This truth is: there are no monsters.
It’s just you.
It’s always been you.
