I play the Irish flute and have a pretty large collection of recordings. These tracks showcase the work of some of my personal heroes on this lovely instrument.

this is just great inspiration for me. Would you have any rep. suggestions for a beginner ensemble of a tin whistle/flute, guitar, bor drum?(sp) and possibly fiddle?

If you're looking for instructional material, I recommend Shannon Heaton's "Oil for the Chain". It's a booklet and CD with tunes old and new, played on Flute & Guitar. If you want more examples of great flute playing, then get the three "Wooden Flute Obsession" CDs.
