thers no such genre called old school..... the term itself is a slang that refers to anything thats old fashioned or that belongs to an earlier generation.. ... aftr 10 yrs yr gonna look back and say windows 7 was old school within the context of newer, more modern times.. we grew up in the 80s listening to analog warm tones , the 80s had boom boxes , floppies, shoulder pads, acid wash jeans,etc . but the times they are a-changing... then came the digital fcuked up gears and cds.. For sum1 who grew up in the 70s old school again will be sumthin which they left behind... like Billie Holliday ,count bassie , louis armstrong .... then comes bill haley and yr elvis , in mayb 50;s with rockabilly .,,. so post yr comments aftr thorough research. Elvis must have been one of the pioneers but " This playlist is pure old school rock n roll".Period.....
