At the helm of Marble Sounds is Pieter Van Dessel, who is also part half of the electro band Plastic Operator. His first offering under the moniker Marble Sounds came about in 2007, while residing in Montreal, Canada. That four song EP, "A Painting Or A Spill", tuned into the unabashed nostalgia of bands like Pinback, The Notwist and Eels, layering beauty on top bitter-sweet sentiment.
