I don't remember hearing rockabilly sounds when watching all 7 seasons of the Gilmore Girls, but I could be wrong. Sonic Youth appeared on the show though, and Grant-Lee Phillips (Grant Lee Buffalo) is a minor character. But don't tell anyone I watch it. :)
