Hellblazer ends February 2013 at issue #300. Soon after, in March 2013 John is to be exhumed, reanimated, and made to live the life of a super hero--a life he wouldn't have wanted if you offered him untold riches. He is to be a zombie kept alive by the profiteering of evil men. An undignified existence, to be sure.

So long, John, old son. It were a pleasure. No one ever dies, they just change into something else entirely, and those they leave behind are unable to experience what that is.
