Representing some of the most influential, iconic music ever made, many of the best tracks were created or inspired by the new wave, deco pop created by the birth of the synthesizer.

This playlist came about when I realized that many of the bands I have fallen in love with all shared a very specific sound - they all reminded me of 80's pop songs. So, in homage to my favorite era I thought it would be fun to make a playlist that encompasses the sound of synthetic pop using contemporary artists.
