Hey it's like. what rounds up to a decade later and I would not be surprised if you don't log into 8tracks anymore, like this is a gorgeous shipwreck of a website, but just in case you do: This is still so beautiful. It still gives me that same weird surreal feeling. And not just when I log in to listen on this page, it's when I hear *any* non-ost song you put on here. I used to sit in my high school library in the morning before the bell with these bulky, teal headphones I still have somewhere and a blank tab open to hide what I was listening to. The computers faced a whole row of almost floor-ceiling windows facing like, vaguely eastish, and it was early enough that I would be able watch the sky light up and listen to a couple songs before I had to go to first period. Sometimes I would use skips to make sure I could get to Pollyanna. This is weird and personal because your playlist occupies a weird and personal place in my life. I'm glad this playlist is still here. I still believe in miracles (I swear I've seen a few!) I hope you're doing well.

this makes me feel a pit in my stomach and i just wanna go back to my childhood when i would stay up late trying to sneak my gameboy at nighttime without the sound or light being too much that my parents would know i was awake. thanks for bringing back some of my best memories, it's a breathless nostalgia
