I had such a strong affinity for early delta blues, it really took me a while to warm up to post-war rhythm & blues. My natural snobbish instinct was to agree with Son House's rant in 1967's "Festival!" I still do think that he's right. It's not the BLUSE. Call it jump blues if you want, but for so many days, it's what keeps me going.

Wow. This mix is amazing. Perfect for work, backyard barbeque, night out or kicking back with a glass (or two) of your favorite cocktail. Thank you!
Thanks, and glad you enjoy! If you like this one, you might also like "no love" from January (http://8tracks.com/topomodesto/no-love). I'll probably do a boogie or delta blues mix in the next couple months.
Another great mix by the West Adams wonderboy!
