My language is music and poetry. It finds my voice, even when I can't find it myself.

“I'm only the black sheep in my family because I'm intelligent, articulate, and proud!” I'm a single mother of one gorgeous overly intelligent five year old girl. She's the light of my life...she's amazing. She self identifies as a feminist at five. That's Sharking Awesome! Most the time she's glued to my hip or my lap. She goes with me to group meetings and school events. She is articulate and feisty with an inner intensity that she lets out when she's excited with life. She's overly dramatic and has a huge attitude. Wonder where that came from?? LOL>< I am opinionated and blunt. Pretty much nothing is going right for me personally right now other than my relationship with my daughter, Ember, and my relationship with my partner Arthur. Arthur is undoubtedly the place I fall with all of my fears and insecurities and has taught me so much about unconditional love. For the first time in my jaded little life I feel love; a love that radiates back at me and fills me with a sense of calm. I adore that man. m a member of the Feminist Student Union and the Gay Straight Alliance and yes we picket.
