Welcome... Brewing beer is one of the few things we can do in this life that equates to pure magic. Hi, my name is Monk and I am a beer enthusiast. I love beer. I love everything about beer and most of all, I love brewing beer. I have a passion for the Belgian style brews and my latest quest involves creating a delectable hybrid of seasonal pumpkin ale with all the strength and complexity of a big Belgian. Home brewing is not just a fun hobby. It's an artisanal craft that comes with a great tradition. Anyone can make awesome beer if they want it. Don't be fooled into thinking that there is a 'best' way to brew or that one brewer’s process is necessarily better than your own. I can’t say I take the most traditional path when it comes to brewing. I do occasionally shoot for certain styles but for the most part, I make what I think I will like. I learn more and more about my craft and myself each day. This is dedicated to my home brewing adventures.
