5/11: i've been compiling the next three mixes that i upload ("in your eyes: a soundtrack") since november of last year. in that month, i took part in "nanowrimo" (national novel writing month) in which i tasked myself with the challenge of writing 50,000 words of a novel. i succeeded, and kept myself sane during that process by compiling an accompanying "soundtrack" to said novel (resulting in the three mixes, which i have since ordered in a sequence that i feel flows well, whilst adding a few more songs, and then i separated/re-ordered them slightly to meet the two-songs-per-artist 8tracks rule). mostly i've done this for myself, but if anyone cares to listen then i won't object. i know there won't be much context to the significance of the songs since you obviously haven't read my terrible novel. there is, however, a rough synopsis i wrote ages ago over here - http://www.nanowrimo.org/en/participants/nickbor/novels/in-your-eyes3 - which might help but that's debatable. i applaud you if you manage to listen to all three mixes, or have even actually read to the end of this body of text. as of yet, i have not finished writing said novel (who knows if i ever will, although i haven't given up just yet!)
