No one moves at the shows, no pits, no slam dancing. But that's not even it, it's more the music and the people. When the band plays you can tell they don't believe in what they are saying nor do they really understand what they are saying. They are playing it because that is what they think they should play. And the fans aren't in it for the message, they are in it for the fashion and to think they are cool. There is no sense of family here, no acceptance. That is the difference between from what I come from and what you come from. When I went to a show, you had people from all walks of life and no one cared. We all accepted and helped one another, we were a family. For that one night we could forget everything and just let it all out with bands who knew where we were coming from. What you have is all fake and a mirage. - Me on the difference between the east and west coast music (I'm from the East Coast)
