I don't think one should go by their self-perceptions, which are notoriously fickle. It's like someone calling themselves pious, or sexy...it's really for others to decide, innit? However, I can say that I am a lapsed bookworm, a sucker for dance music, and in firm denial about the years creeping by...I still feel like a 12-year-old goth tomboy inside. I love people, even if I'm not sure humanity is all that great. I am, no lie, mildly allergic to the sun. I prefer sweater weather anyways, give me a nice crispy autumn afternoon with the crunchy leaves and the yummy toxic smell of wood smoke. My attitudes and behaviors are decidedly modern, but I have vintage tastes.
