There is someone who plays for himself and someone who plays for the others; in the DJ booth there are the ones who just do their homework and the ones who pay close attention to the public to make them dance. Dj Capo is from the second type, as it has been from the very beginning when he started playing music in 2005 in Girona.
It was from this moment on when he started to define his own style, characterized by the great importance he gives to his mixes. Pop and electronic music are the ingredients he uses the most, always facing them with an open view and without prejudices.
During all this period of time he has brought his records to different DJ booth clubs as The Sound, Depósito Legal, BeCool, Apolo “Crappy Tuesdays”, Sidecar (Bcn), Midi, BlasBlas, Hit Me! (Sabadell), Arrikitown (Cornellà), La Moderna (Vilafranca), Velcro (Terrassa), Eclèctic (Vic), Les Paul, Cotton, La Casa de la Bomba (Lleida), Sönic (Mollerussa), Siroco (Madrid), Sala Pícaro (Toledo), La Via, Le Rachdingue, Plegatín / Blau Club, Beach Club, La Mirona / La Bombolla, Sonic Club, Wah Wah, Monkey Club, Phantom, Spritz, Sala Tourmix y Sala Sindicat (Girona).
He has also played music in festivals as Palmfest (2008), popArb (2009), Mirall Sonor (2009), Festival de Pop de Girona (2007), Pequeño Cabaret Ambulante (2009), In-Somni (2009, 2010), Film & Cook Festival (2011), Sant Feliu Fest Sota Zero (2011), Jack Daniel's Music Day (2011), etc.
He has shared booths with DJs as important as Amable, Maadraassoo, Vladimir Dynamo, Luis Le Nuit, Gato, Fenix, Carole, Batidora, Legoteque, Viktor Ollé, Kerman, Nacho Ruiz and Pin&Pon. It is precisely with the last four DJs that he shares booking in El Genio Equivocado.
People who know him well recognize that Dj Capo never dances, but if you see him playing the records we can bet that you will be the ones who will move.
