Some history: As the former GDR censored a lot of its music artist, musicians fell back on something called "Grüne Elefanten". "Green elephants" were parts of the lyrics that were written into the song to catch the eye of the censors, so the less obvious critical lyrics were overlooked. Which meant for the artists to only fix up the obvious parts, but could leave the hidden messages and anti-GDR sentiments.
