Hi! My name is Tyler Stanage and I am a DJ / current station manager at WIUX. Modern electropop is the amalgamation of psych rock, prog rock, synthpop, and other genres that all focus on a synthesizer / computer to generate music.
This mix focuses on music from the late 1990's through the present, with an emphasis on newer forms of electropop -- dance-punk, indie electronic, and modernized synthpop -- all with one common purpose: to make the listener dance.
