A man forsakes a world that has forsaken him. Innumerable ruminations weigh heavy upon his shoulders, canting his posture forward. Sandals scraping pavement, he slowly ambles down the sidewalk beneath city lights, breath condensing in the frigid winter air.

Notes: Too many sessions over too many days all for this tiny mix and I'm over it since I don't think it'll really get listened to anyway. It was very important to me to include lyrically relevant songs without going into full-blown edgy territory (or too mopey) and to also have a musical progression throughout the album from start to finish. Best way to describe the sound is "melancholy songs in a minor key ranging from slow-to-mid tempo with somewhat dreamy sounds ranging from experimental to synthpop".

@lemoncrysoprase No problem, friend. Getting just that right feel (moody and downtempo, a little melancholy) without being all songs about depression and mental illness was really important to me. Thank you for letting me know you liked it.
