The alto saxophone is a woodwind instrument invented by Belgian instrument designer Adolphe Sax in the 1840s, and patented in 1846. It's smaller than the tenor but larger than the soprano. The alto sax is commonly used in classical music, military bands, marching bands, and jazz. This mix mostly features swinging & smooth alto sax jazz including some of the best artists of our time!
