Its been more than 2 years since I've made a playlist and my musical taste has since become less rigid and simultaneously held on to certain roots.This is a mix comprising both newer songs I've really enjoyed and a few old school tracks which I've been listening to recently, because I'm an old soul at heart who is trying to be more open to being experimental with my music. Growing up, growing older, the changing times, living as an independent young adult in a big city, responsibility, freedom, frustration and grappling with finding where your convictions lie, together make music appreciation feel contemplative; almost like you're in a movie, in the middle of seizing life, or being seized unaware by it. It's a lovely time to be alive.
