after heist chill out. laying around each other, laying around alone. soft melodies, even softer words. watching the clouds mixed with smoke and dust move over the city, waiting for the damage they've done to level itself out. washing off the blood and stitching up bullet holes. counting scars like they're toy trucks, colored pencils. like nothing was ever wrong.
