Under an inexplicably thriving cherry blossom tree on a drought-ridden farm, three friends begin to consider their futures as their grade twelve exams grow ever-closer. Their plans are thrown violently off-course, however, when a mysterious illness strikes all the young people in the town. Amongst generational divides, questions of elitism and modernity, sexual exploration and mass quarantine, these friends tied up in a disposable youth culture are left to wonder how far they might go to get what they want.
