Aspiring writer and actress Lisa Snart is down on her luck when she can't find the right actor of her and her brother's next picture. That's when she meets confirmed bachelor Hartley Rathaway, formerly to be Hollywood's next big name. Recently 'released' from all his contracts after rumors of his affair with the now defunct Star Studios' director Harrison Wells, the young man is ready to do anything to prove that his career isn't just dead yet. Lisa hires him and somewhere along the road to the premiere, they fall in love. Just not with each other.
