If there is music written which must make the listener feel the mood in which it was composed in, it gets made on the piano. A perfect transmitter of moods - if there was one.
Rousing & calming, invigorating & distressing, happy & sad : playing Jekyll and Hyde with the senses.
Some piano compositions, it certainly isn't Rachmaninoff or Choplin, but breathtaking and spectacular still.
