Axel has become a changed man after his experience with Danny and Andrew's deaths. He no longer lets his rage get the better of him. He has become broken and bitter. His dreams are haunted by Andrew mocking and insulting him. He is now a loner and wanders the city streets with no company. However, this proves to be dangerous when Shiro begins trying to kill him. Now he must enlist in the help of Ozzy and Pete, along with others, to help combat this problem. Despite his many reasons to give up, somehow he keeps on living.
