Be Courageous

Notes

Your life is precious. I know it's easy for me to say, but when you're in a dark place and it feels like a razor, pills, or purging is the only way out, know that recovery is possible. I hope that this mix will be a comforting reminder in your agonized hours of despondency, and that you will be encouraged to keep fighting. The world needs you. Breathe and be courageous.

I really like this mix! Thank you so much!
There is one thing that I just want to suggest though! I never heard of Between the Trees until I was listening to this, and honestly, as I was listening to this as some background noise as I was trying to do other things to avoid self harm urges, I found the the song The Way She Feels really triggering. I mean, I know by the end, it has a happy ending, but I didn't get that far until I looked it up later after quickly turning it off!
Just a heads up to others / something to keep in mind for the playlist creator! :)
Thanks, and hang in there, everyone who is struggling today. <3

Hi Ariana!
Thank you so much for that feedback. It was so honest. I'm sorry the song upset you. Overall, I'm glad you like the mix! I have another, more upbeat mix here: http://8tracks.com/lovelyhealing/upbeat-recovery-mix.

Good luck to you! Stay strong.

This is exactly what I needed. I've been relapsing with Anoreixa for a few days now, this gave me strength again. Thank you.

I am so glad you found this helpful. Relapse can be a necessary step of recovery, and I am so pleased that this mix has helped you get through it. Stay strong, friend, and thank you.

Hi gummyluver! It's my pleasure. I'm so glad that I can help you in this small way. Music is a big part of my life, too. Without it I would not be as far along my recovery as I am today. I am mentally preparing more mixes, so stay on the look out! Take care.

mill, I know that it can be very hard but you can do it! Try doing things to distract yourself and remind yourself that you are awesome. If there is any way I can help let me know. Stay strong, friend.
