This is the sixth in a series dedicated to a time when 8 Tracks ruled the world. It is also a salute to a brand of music that you'd find on them, namely a blend of soft rock, country and soul. It's a very wide blend of music that I'm presenting but purposely one thing is missing, hard, loud music. Even bands that are thought of as nominally heavy are represented by their softer side. This is presented on commercial radio these days as classic hits. Everything on this mix was a hit of sorts back in the day but others I've made in this series has a few left turns to spice it up. If there is enough interest in this playlist I'll publish more.
