This is an amalgam of mostly seventies titles that loosely revolve around getting high. Granted the lyrics might not explicitly be on the subject, but the smoke permiates this mix like a well used bong. There's some hits here, some favored album cuts and some cult favorites. There's even one that wasn't available at the time but it's time and genre appropriate. As a closing thought I'd like to bring up that the lofty subtitle suggests a wide array of listening environments, but the key word is stew. In other words the mix made itself.
