I recommend, "Nosferatu the Vampyre" Klause Kinski, Werner Herzog dir. (1979) A soundtrack by the band Popul Vu (reeeealy strange!) Then there's the George Duning soundtrack to "Bell, Book and Candle" (1958) about hipster/beatnik BeBop loving witches in Greenwich Villiage. the soundtrack consists of 2 trumpets, gutiar and bongos playing basso nova and jazz in a nightclub to the most bizarre orchestration of "Stormy Weather I've ever heard . Some of the music is very much a part of the plot and some of the scenes in this very under-rated comedy-noir.
