This is a collection of 30 tracks remembering the artists, musicians and music industry pioneers we lost in 2016. From the superstars like David Bowie to lesser known stars like Rod Temperton of Heatwave, these songs pay homage to those who have given us so much joy and such wonderful music. There is even a classic from The Beatles in honor of Sir George Martin. Since some of the artists may not be well known and for some of the songs it may not be immediately clear who it is a tribute to, I have included annotations regarding who was lost with some details of their passing. May they all rest in peace.
