Letters to God

Notes

This playlist is dedicated to one of the oldest (and, in my opinion, best) ships: Satan/God.

Background: God loved Satan, but Satan led a rebellion when God created humans and started treating them better than the angels. God threw Satan out of Heaven and gave him the job of punishing the bad humans and suffering in hell for all eternity.

I listened to this out of curiosity (very interesting idea), and I'm really glad I did. I enjoyed it a lot.

I have a few of these songs in my library, but I listened to them all the way through anyway. Listening to this mix is like following a story, and hearing the songs I enjoy from another perspective is like listening to them for the first time. I got that feeling more than once here.

In fact, some of these songs make MORE sense coming from the pov of Satan than of some human. So much sense, actually, that I'm now wondering if maybe that's what they're supposed to be in the first place and I'm just really dense for not realizing it before.

I never thought I'd say it... but I think I ship Satan/God. wtf. Sorry, grandma.
