I didnt think that they had enough songs during the movie. Like the scene when their names are drawn; no music at all. Sorry, but you HAVE to have music!! It sets the whole mood. Good movie, but I liked the book better :P The pictures in my head while reading were more vivid

I respect your opinion, however, I'm going to have to disagree. Making the decision to leave music out of a scene makes it more relatable, and therefore, more powerful. Since we don't have background music playing in our lives, it's easier for us to imagine ourselves in a certain situation without music. Plus the stark silence can create goosebumps (at least it did for me). Of course, this is all just my opinion.

i completely agree. having no music made the scenes so much more real and intense, I was on the edge of my seat the entire time. when you can even hear the characters breathing it also gives a level of intimacy. american cinema needs to follow this example.

I havent even read the books and my friend took me to see it and it was AMAZINGGGG can't wait to get the books and read em allll (reminds me of battle royale and lord of the flies) ahh those were the good days

Ahhhh I saw it the midnight premiere and it was wonderful!!
I'm now re-reading the books because I can't get enough XD I may go see it again this Saturday.
