Mary Tyler Moore was an American actress, known for her roles in TV sitcoms The Mary Tyler Moore Show (1970–1977), in which she starred as a local news producer in Minneapolis, and The Dick Van Dyke Show (1961–1966), in which she played a former dancer turned homemaker, wife and mother.She was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Actress for her role in Ordinary People. I had the pleasure of meeting her once at a function, and she was lovely and gracious as you would expect. She will be missed by her adoring fans. R.I.P. dear Mary. This mix is for you!
