Tribute to Alphonse Mouzon

Alphonse Mouzon (November 21, 1948 – December 26, 2016) was a great American jazz fusion drummer, composer, arranger, and producer. His popularity as a performing artist first became realized in the late 1960s and early 1970s. I saw him perform many times with McCoy Tyner and Eleventh House with Larry Coryell, and also remained friends through social media. He was a great artist and very nice person who loved and appreciated his many fans. Affectionately known as Big Al, he will be greatly missed.. Enjoy this collection of his tracks and those of his closest colleagues.
