Save Those We Make for Ourselves

In no sensical order, a playlist of demons past, present, and future, that lurk in every corner of a brilliant mind, waiting for the darkness to discover them and set them free. Even with so much light, and a spectacular conductor of it, one can still seek the shadows as old friends. Songs for reluctant trips, melancholy highs, and the crumpling of will that surrounds uncertainty.

In my mind, this playlist "takes place" after Mary is gone. Sherlock and John have made their grand confessions to one another, shared tearful kisses and passionate embrace, but they have not yet reached their happy ending. Sherlock is still very much haunted by the actions, apparitions, and addictions of his past.
