first the whole composition and coloring of the mix cover was like a punch to the emotions (with matoba's back retreating and natori by himself in the field!!!) separated by those heavy picture frames! and second, i love how the sad piano and pining feelings (up to the lighter and happier songs at the end) were all very cohesive ! some of the ones that lead to a lot of crying were one eye open- trentemoller, and afraid- sarah fimm ("I'd like to help you suffer less / not be so locked up in your thoughts" and "i'll be keeping you safe / when you're cold and alone") /sound of heartbreak right hERE . and the title of marissa nadler- heart paper love was just an Excellent choice.

@redcurtains !! ahh thank you! one eye open and afraid /wrEcked me up/ when i first heard them -- they definitely defined the playlist. and heart paper lover simply had to be included for that title alone! luckily it fit with what i had. after hearing one eye open, i needed an upsetting cover to go with it, lol. tl;dr i'm so glad you enjoyed this though, and thanks for the lovely comment.
