A few years ago I was working on a film that was never made. This could've been the soundtrack. The vibe is suburban/midwestern angst/ennui + record collection of a guy who was hip in the 80's. Features The Replacements, The Descendents, The Nerves, stuff your cool uncle probably would've liked when he was in junior college, and some more recent stuff too.

It is! I've liked them ever since I heard "Can't Stand the Midwest" on one of those Killed By Death compilations back in high school, and I've been looking for more of them ever since. I did manage to find some live footage on youtube but that was about it.
