After years of abuse at the hands of her mother, and countless reports sent to CPS only to be ignored, Alexis manages to escape and start a new life only to discover that she's far from the only one to suffer at the hands of merciless parents and a negligent organization. With the help of a friend, as well as her dangerously loyal girlfriend and therapist, she decides to infiltrate the organization, gain access to uninvestigated reports that have been filed away and start taking matters into her own hands. Each act of vengeance makes her feel good at first, but eventually her self appointed mission of vengeance leads her back to a haunting past.
