There's an elite high school. One main character is a poor girl who got into the school on a scholarship. The other is a rich popular girl whose parents paid her way into the school, even though grades weren't great. Their families despise each other. They're all set up to be perfect enemies, but end up meeting in music class. They slowly bond over creating music together, and secretly fall in love. Both have problematic relationships with families of origin. Their relationship is a sanctuary to retreat to, where they feel safe. Also, there is magic and dragons and lots of adventure.
