It Is A Monstrous Love... ;;

"The horror was for love. The things we do for love like this are ugly, mad, full of sweat and regret. This love burns you and maims you and twists you inside out."

Was kinda over hearing everyone weep for Thomas while reviling Lucille, who has endured just as much as he has, if not more. I can't help feeling for Lucille as well. The entire movie, she's trying to shout, "I'm not extras," and she's literally not mentally equipped to handle the rejection. She's so often painted as the Abuser when she doesn't have the faculties to play any other part; she's manipulative because she doesn't have what she needs. That's something everyone should be able to relate to.

So here's an appreciation playlist.
