Another great installment man. Love that you're still including Halo soundtrack pieces :) Although I think I'll always prefer Marty's style over Davidge's, it's still a really great new OST.
I was shocked to see (hear?) that Marty was not coming back for Halo 4. I was pleasantly surprised at how awesome Davidge's score was though - and it is bloody awesome. I think it is appropriate to go with a new sound for a new trilogy. I don't think it will be as iconic as the original, but I still think its excellent. It seems like we probably agree on this. And thanks!
Yeah, I do agree completely on all points. And the reason he did not return was because Bungie (the original developer) sold the rights to Microsoft, and the new trilogy is being developed by 343 Industries (a Microsoft studio). Marty will be staying on with Bungie and is currently working on their next project.
