It was a time when imagination, creation and incredible instrumentation prevailed in music. Even in this age, poisoned by prefabricated pop superstars, lacking in talent and discipline, bands like Spock's Beard and others carry on the legacy of incredibly intricate, passionate and artistic expression. Please enjoy the progressive music of artists past and present. (Some of these are long songs, but that's okay. Like great symphonies, they were beautifully indulgent, and they relied upon audiences who could appreciate their grandeur.)
