They've never been lovers in a physical sense but they've been lover as much as most of us manage. They've loved each other through expressions, gestures a palm set softly upon a bruise at the right moment. They are lovers by inclination rather than by lust, lovers that is by love. Of course as all lovers do they go through the ups and downs, together and apart, but they always end up together in the very end and thats whats important.
